Frantic winds rage unleashed
With clenched fists, gritted teeth
Tearing seared remnants out of me
Tear one by one
Arduous roam has began
Out of shadows below
Into churning whiteout

Behold the black clouds
The smoke reached so high
I beseech, gone astray
Will you come
To take me away?
Fiery winds blow
Spreading ash on the snow
On the day all hopes die
Within the cold light

The grimmest frost
Ravens afar
My years have faded somehow
The scent of demise
Balefully swirls
Mingles into the black and white
